Our 2024 FSHD 360 in the Kansas City area is hosted by Dr. Jeffrey Statland of the University of Kansas Medical Center and FSHD CTRN. This is a historic time in FSHD, with new treatments on the horizon. Do you understand how clinical trials work, and how new drugs make it to patients? Dr. Statland and his colleagues will share the latest news on FSHD research and clinical trials and best care practices. KUMC’s clinical care team will answer your questions about your health, genetic counseling and testing, physical and occupational therapy, and much more. You’ll also have opportunities to connect with dozens of other individuals and families living with FSHD; they are often the best source of advice and information.
